I wrote a book! Well I co-authored a book, called Healthy Living, the Secrets to Natural Health and Wellness. I am a Personal Trainer and I specialize in MAT (Muscle Activation Techniques). In this book I talk about building muscle naturally and why that is so important.
Specifically, I address how muscle helps our bones, joints, mood, sleep, helps us fight disease and illness, and helps us slow down the aging process! If we don’t continue to build muscle, we start to lose it in our early twenties, then the opposite effect happens. We become more susceptible to illness, disease, bone fractures, osteoporosis, joint pain, injuries, poor sleep, bad moods and we age much faster! Who wants that?
Our bodies are designed to move! We are designed to be strong! But if you don’t use it, you lose it!
Creating a gym routine is hard in the beginning but it gets easier with practice. Make it a habit, like brushing your teeth. I suggest hiring a Personal Trainer to get you off on the right foot and to support and motivate you. To keep you going. Because trust me, there will be days that you don’t want to workout, but because your trainer is waiting for you, and you’ve paid for the session, you are more likely to show up. We keep you going when you want to throw in the towel. We hold you accountable and teach you skills for lifelong health and fitness.
